Jorge Vega is a strategist and researcher at THINK Conservatory, an international market intelligence and strategy firm with offices in New York and Chicago. He has worked with clients such as Puma, Diageo and Unilever in understanding consumer behavior around the world and supporting their innovation and/or communications strategies in different markets.
Prior to THINK Jorge worked in a variety of strategic communications agencies, most recently Edelman Public Relations, where he helped craft and execute various multicultural campaigns for clients such as Pepsi and Time Warner Cable.
Jorge was born and raised in sunny Puerto Rico, and graduated from Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service with a degree roughly in the convergence of cultural studies, international politics, public diplomacy and technology. A first- generation student himself, Jorge joined NYNY as a proud Mentor-Coach in 2010, joining the YLB shortly after. Aside from NYNY, Jorge also serves as an advisor to Digital Democracy, an organization that works to empower marginalized communities to use technology to fight for their human rights.
Jorge is a fan of social innovation, adventure travel, street food, mega-cities, photography and sleep deprivation.
