Carlos Cuevas is an Administrative Fellow at the Urban Health Plan (UHP), one of the largest Federally Qualified Community Health Center networks in New York State. In his role, Carlos reports directly to the President & CEO on a variety of financial, policy and operational matters.
Carlos completed his graduate coursework at Columbia University where he pursued a M.P.A. from the School of International & Public Affairs (SIPA) and a M.P.H. from the Mailman School of Public Health. Carlos’ graduate coursework focused on health care management and policy, with emphasis on quality improvement and cost analysis.
A native New Yorker, Carlos was born in the Bronx and holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University (Columbia College), where he was a lightweight rower, a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity and the recipient of the Charles Rolker Prize at graduation.
