Vassi Tomova (Finance and Operations Manager)

Previously Vassi was the Human Resources and Operations Officer at New York Cares, a leading nonprofit organization based in New York City, where she was responsible for all HR-related operations. Prior to New York Cares, she worked at The Browning School as the Assistant to the Division Heads. Before joining The Browning School, Vassi was a Science Teacher with Teach for America.

Vassi received her B.A. from Macalester College, with a double major in International Studies and German Studies and a minor in Political Science. She spent a semester abroad in Germany and Austria, where she focused her studies on global governance and the European Union. Vassi holds a Certificate in Professional Human Resources Management from Pace University. While at Macalester, Vassi managed programs at the Department of Multicultural Life and mentored first-year international students. She enjoys travelling, painting, and skiing.
