NYNY’s Mentor Leadership Council presents the 2013 Spring Clothing Drive!
We are excited to announce that the MLC will be collecting donations at NYNY’s March 9th workshop to outfit Fellows for upcoming internships, interviews and professional careers. We are looking for professional attire, including:
Suits - Coats - Shirts - Ties - Jackets - Sweaters - Shoes - Portfolios -Briefcases
Purses - Laptops - Accessories (belts, watches, wallets, glasses, etc.)
We encourage you to donate as many items as you can, but please bring clean items in good condition. If you’re not sure if something is appropriate, ask yourself if a Fellow could wear it to an interview. All donations of professional attire are welcome, but we are especially seeking in-season (Spring/Summer) items. All donations are tax-deductible. Donation instructions below.
To donate items, please:
- Bring them to our workshop on Saturday, March 9th at John Jay College (860 11th Avenue between 58th and 59th Streets). Drop-off donations will be accepted from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. We will not be able to accept any donations after 10:30 am.
If you cannot bring them to our workshop, you can donate in the following ways:
- Drop them off by Wednesday, 3/6 at the NYNY office from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
- Ship them to the NYNY office by Wednesday, 3/6
We encourage you to invite your friends and colleagues to donate, as well!
