Fellows Program Application

The NYNY Fellows application must be completed online and submitted electronically once all of the required questions have been answered. NYNY does not accept mailed or faxed applications. We strongly encourage applicants to write out their responses to the essay questions before entering them into the online form. Applicants have the ability to save their application and complete it over multiple sessions. 

The online application form consists of questions about applicants' educational background, current employment, activities and achievements, self-reported test scores, basic financial information as well as the following components:

• 3 required essays (1 optional), each a maximum of 250 words
• High school and college transcripts
• Proof of Permanent Residency status, if applicable
• Resume
• A minimum of 1 letter of recommendation, maximum of 2

Thank you for your interest in the New York Needs You Fellows Program. Our 2013 Fellows Application is now closed. The 2014 NYNY Fellows Application will open in Fall 2013.
